I won’t lie, my heart does not belong to that particular black and white striped team, but I do have some fond memories of DFC.

As a student at CCAD I attended many a game at Feethams and although I was never quite brave enough the experience the “Cow Shed”  part of me kind of wishes they never left that quaint little ground tucked away at the side of town. Whether it be threatening to leave because Uriah “sent of Alan Shearer” Rennie was the ref, being overly scared of the mascot Mr Q or the eternal gratefulness I felt towards Adam Betts for kicking the ball away when I was sat front row,  I shall always remember Feethams Fondly.

I experienced a few league games, an I’ll fated play-off game and an infamous pre season friendly at the new stadium. Wasn’t quite the same with all the empty seats and lack or terracing, but it’s still a football club. A football club that means a lot to a lot of people. Therefore we should all do what we can to help this football club remain into its 129th year.
